Use Data Temperature

You can use Data Temperature terms to tag your files and then create rules to apply the tags to execute file tiering and migration. For example, you can create Hot, Cold, Warm, Boiling, and Frozen terms for the data temperature tags and then apply them to the corresponding date ranges for migration and archival. Depending on your needs, you can use the suggested tags or create others to better fit your environment or workflow.

Click Check Data Temperature to open the Business Glossary in Data Catalog and add or view data temperature terms. To add terms to a resource, you can click Add New to open the Business Terms dialog box and add terms on the resource. See ? PDC Business glossary.
